📋 Description

• Senior Auditor role at Agent Inc., a growing CPA firm in Texas managing over 3,000 clients annually, where you will lead audit engagements from initiation to completion, ensuring high-quality audit and tax services while supporting a collaborative team culture.
• This remote position (based in the Philippines, working Central Time Zone) offers $2,000–$2,400/month DOE and requires ownership, independence, and a commitment to excellence in serving diverse clients across industries.
• Lead and manage audit engagements independently, taking full ownership from initiation through completion, including planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, and reporting.
• Supervise and mentor two junior audit staff members, providing guidance, reviewing work products, and fostering their professional development.
• Conduct audits for commercial and non-profit clients across various industries, adapting methodologies to suit different business models and regulatory environments.
• Manage 15–20+ concurrent audit engagements, with workload fluctuating seasonally, requiring strong prioritization and time management skills.
• Execute audit work using AuditFile and AuditSight software, leveraging technology to improve efficiency and accuracy in audit procedures.
• Collaborate with the internal tax team on integrated engagements, ensuring seamless coordination between audit and tax services for clients.
• Conduct other related accounting work, including tax preparation and review, during slower audit seasons to support firm-wide needs.
• Maintain regular communication with audit leadership through check-ins every other day to align on progress, risks, and client updates.
• Stay current with audit standards and best practices, including updates to GAAS, SAS, and relevant regulatory changes.
• Uphold ownership mentality and ethical standards, demonstrating integrity and professionalism in all client interactions.
• Apply strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with clients and collaborate effectively across internal teams.
• Demonstrate ability to take constructive feedback and incorporate it into work products to continuously improve quality.
• Work comfortably as part of a team with regular interaction across departments, contributing to a supportive and knowledge-sharing culture.
• Apply problem-solving and critical thinking to address complex audit issues and exercise professional judgment.
• Show adaptability to new tools and processes, including openness to AI and technology implementation for audit efficiency.

🎯 Requirements

• CPA license (active and in good standing)
• Minimum 5+ years of audit experience with a mid-to-large accounting firm
• Proven ability to lead audit engagements independently
• Experience supervising junior audit staff
• Strong understanding of audit methodologies across multiple industries
• Proficiency with audit software (AuditFile or similar platforms preferred but not required)
• Fluent in English
