📋 Description

• As a Senior Backend Developer at i3D.net, you will own the critical flow of business and customer data across the organization, ensuring accuracy and consistency in billing, product, and sales data—directly impacting revenue integrity and strategic decision-making. Your work will eliminate manual reconciliation, stabilize data migrations, and create auditable, scalable systems that power seamless integrations between finance, product, and engineering teams.
• You will design and implement robust ETL pipelines for migrating billing, contract, and asset data with full validation and rollback capabilities; model and transform complex data structures from legacy systems using SQL and Python; build scalable backend services in Go that enforce business rules and expose billing logic via REST and gRPC APIs; standardize product and pricing models for cross-system consistency; integrate ERP, CRM, payment, and inventory platforms with secure, reliable data exchange; develop automation tooling, scripts, and runbooks for repeatable migrations and controlled cutovers; implement observability through monitoring, dashboards, and alerting to detect and resolve data or integration issues swiftly; collaborate closely with Finance, Product, and Business Analysts to refine business rules and validate outputs; and mentor junior engineers while contributing to long-term architecture decisions for the billing platform.

• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in Go-based backend engineering, data modeling, and enterprise integration patterns while gaining visibility into how data drives business outcomes across finance and product domains. 🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience building production systems in Go, .NET, or PHP, with Go as the primary language for this role
• Strong experience with relational databases (MySQL, MariaDB, or Postgres), including complex schema design, querying, and data transformation
• Proven track record designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines, idempotent migration scripts, validation tooling, and automated reconciliation processes
• Experience building and integrating REST or gRPC APIs with authentication mechanisms such as OAuth2 or JWT
• Hands-on experience with third-party system integrations (ERP, CRM, payment providers, inventory platforms)
• Comfortable working with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines (GitLab), and infrastructure-as-code tools like Ansible or Terraform
• Familiarity with observability stacks including Prometheus, Grafana, logging, and distributed tracing
• Commitment to code quality through unit, integration, and contract testing
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders (Finance, Product, Business Analysts)
• Eligibility to work in the EU (valid work permit required); willingness to work hybrid from Rotterdam office with relocation support available
