- • Architect and implement mission-critical financial systems that process millions of dollars daily, including payment processing, fraud detection, and compliance infrastructure
- • Lead cross-domain solutions that coordinate interactions between payments, fraud detection, user management, and compliance systems within a distributed microservices architecture
- • Drive technical architecture decisions that impact the entire platform, establishing best practices for scalability, reliability, and maintainability
- • Mentor junior engineers by guiding coding standards, design patterns, and engineering practices to foster a high-performance engineering culture
- • Optimize system performance and reliability across a distributed microservices environment to maintain 99.9%+ uptime under high transaction volumes
- • Collaborate closely with product and compliance teams to design systems that meet both business objectives and strict regulatory requirements
- • Design and develop backend services using Python 3, with deep expertise in web frameworks, APIs, and event-driven architectures
- • Implement robust database solutions using both SQL and NoSQL databases to support high-throughput financial data operations
- • Integrate with third-party financial services and banking APIs to enable cross-border payments and money movement systems
- • Apply domain-driven design, clean architecture, and CQRS patterns to structure complex financial systems with clear boundaries and maintainable code

- • Coordinate external service integrations to ensure seamless data flow and operational stability across multiple financial platforms
- • Maintain and improve system reliability through proactive monitoring, incident response, and performance tuning in a production environment
- • Translate complex regulatory and business requirements into scalable, secure, and auditable technical solutions
- • Lead technical initiatives that directly influence the growth and stability of a fintech platform processing 100M+ in weekly transaction volume
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of software engineering experience building complex, production systems
- • Demonstrated systems engineering experience solving complex, cross-domain challenges
- • Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and computer science fundamentals
- • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required
- • Backend Development: Python (Python 3), strong understanding of web frameworks and APIs
- • Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and microservices
