• • As a Senior Backend Engineer at Remote Technologies Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of global employment solutions. • • You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining the backend systems that enable companies to compliantly hire, pay, and manage their global workforce. • • The backend is primarily built using Elixir and Phoenix, with a Postgres database. You will be expected to contribute to this ecosystem, ensuring high performance, reliability, and maintainability of our services. Familiarity with these technologies is key, but a strong foundation in backend development principles and a willingness to learn are highly valued.
• • You will collaborate closely with frontend engineers (React/Next.js), SREs, and QA engineers within your assigned vertical. • • A significant aspect of this role involves leading the development of major team-scoped projects and actively participating in cross-team initiatives.
