📋 Description
- • Senior Backend Engineer role focused on building and maintaining core infrastructure for authentication, authorization, analytics, and user management at Censys, a company dedicated to providing comprehensive Internet intelligence to governments, Fortune 500 companies, and threat intelligence providers.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include building and extending backend services in Go, expanding authentication and analytics capabilities, developing and monitoring distributed systems, collaborating with product and engineering teams, enhancing the public API, and improving developer experience for internal and external users.
- • The Core Services team is foundational to Censys’ platform, ensuring secure, scalable systems that support critical business capabilities; the company values diversity, inclusion, and remote work across the US and Canada, with headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
- • This role offers the opportunity to shape secure and scalable infrastructure, deepen expertise in distributed systems and cloud technologies, influence platform-wide capabilities, and grow as a technical leader in a mission-driven environment focused on Internet transparency and security.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience writing backend services in Golang
- • Understanding of distributed systems and associated challenges
