📋 Description

• • As a Senior Backend Engineer specializing in the Intents API at LI.FI GmbH, you will be at the forefront of developing and scaling our critical off-chain coordination service, known as the Order Server. This role is pivotal to our innovative solver-based Intents architecture, designed to simplify multi-chain Decentralized Finance (DeFi) for traditional financial institutions, fintechs, and service providers. Your primary responsibility will be to architect, build, and maintain a secure, high-throughput system using TypeScript and the NestJS framework. This system is the central hub responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of Intents, from initial quote aggregation and rigorous validation to real-time broadcasting and comprehensive cross-chain status tracking.
• • You will be instrumental in creating a robust and trustless cross-chain experience by enabling applications to discover competitive quotes and protecting our Solvers from fraudulent orders. This involves designing and implementing highly available, low-latency APIs that facilitate seamless interaction between applications, manage quotes effectively, and provide system-wide status retrieval. Your work will directly impact the performance, security, and reliability of LI.FI's core infrastructure.
• • A significant aspect of your role will involve developing advanced and rigorous validation mechanisms. This includes implementing logic for checking digital signatures (such as EIP-712), enforcing timing constraints, and managing necessary co-signatures to ensure data integrity and prevent any fraudulent activity within the system. This meticulous attention to security and data integrity is paramount for maintaining the trustless nature of our DeFi solutions.
• • Furthermore, you will build and optimize the infrastructure responsible for the immediate, real-time broadcasting of critical, validated data to all participating external liquidity providers and execution partners. This ensures that information flows efficiently and instantaneously across the network, enabling swift and accurate execution of DeFi transactions.
• • You will also integrate with specialized data indexing services to reliably monitor and track the multi-phase lifecycle of core system objects across distributed environments. This ensures that users and applications receive accurate, real-time status updates, providing transparency and control over their cross-chain activities.
• • To enhance the user experience, you will implement advanced logic for data aggregation, caching strategies, and mechanisms for partner reputation and selection. This ensures that users consistently receive the best possible quotes and execution pathways.
• • Proactively identifying and resolving potential security vulnerabilities within the off-chain coordination flow is a key responsibility, safeguarding the integrity and trustworthiness of the entire system. You will also collaborate closely with the core Smart Contract and Product teams, ensuring comprehensive documentation for the backend architecture and APIs is maintained.
