• • As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and integration of complex systems, taking ownership of critical components such as the stateful tour backend, and services responsible for managing driver tasks, notifications, and timeframes.
• • Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring these services are not only robust, scalable, and reliable but also seamlessly interoperable, both internally and with external services, guaranteeing a consistent and accurate data flow to our internal data setup.
• • You will be an integral part of a collaborative team environment, actively contributing to the development and implementation of new features that push the boundaries of last-mile logistics technology.
• • Take full ownership of the services' infrastructure, from initial definition and CI/CD setup through to production monitoring and ongoing support, ensuring unwavering reliability and scalability.
• • Drive the complete development lifecycle of features, eliminating hand-offs and fostering a sense of end-to-end responsibility and accountability.
• • Actively participate in architectural discussions, leveraging your expertise to identify and implement more efficient and innovative service designs that align with Bettermile's cutting-edge vision.
• • Champion observability and monitoring practices, ensuring transparency and maintaining the highest standards of system health and performance.
• • Support and collaborate with QA processes, guaranteeing the delivery of high-quality and stable releases that meet stringent industry standards.
