- • Design, build, and operate scalable event-driven microservices in Node.js and TypeScript to handle millions of requests reliably.
- • Own end-to-end technical responsibility for critical platform domains, including architecture decisions, implementation, monitoring, and operational stability.
- • Develop and maintain backend services and data pipelines that enable critical telemetry and analytics for business intelligence.
- • Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to design data models and service interfaces that support high-volume, low-latency telemetry requirements.
- • Deploy and manage infrastructure on AWS Serverless components including Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, and SNS.
- • Model and optimize relational databases using PostgreSQL for high-performance transactional and analytical workloads.
- • Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform or AWS CDK to ensure reproducible, version-controlled deployments.
- • Proactively identify system bottlenecks, propose scalable solutions, and drive improvements without requiring explicit direction.
- • Communicate technical trade-offs clearly to cross-functional stakeholders, including data teams and international partners.
- • Participate in the design and delivery of high-impact regional digital transformation projects in finance and HR technology domains.
- • Operate in a remote-first environment with full autonomy, contributing to a globally distributed engineering team.
- • Maintain high standards of code quality, observability, and system reliability under production pressure.
- • Lead technical discussions and mentor junior engineers through code reviews, architecture proposals, and operational best practices.
- • Work with time-series data systems and contribute to IoT or industrial telemetrĂa projects where applicable.
- • Ensure services are designed for scalability, fault tolerance, and observability from day one.
- • Engage in continuous improvement of development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tooling.
- • Contribute to a culture of technical excellence, clear communication, and ownership across international teams.
🎯 Requirements
- • +5 years of backend development experience with demonstrated seniority through autonomy and proactivity
- • +3 years of solid experience with Node.js and TypeScript
- • +3 years operating in AWS Serverless environments (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS)
- • +2 years of experience in basic Data Engineering and relational database modeling (PostgreSQL)
- • +1 year of experience with TimescaleDB or other time-series databases (preferred)
- • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform or AWS CDK)
