• • As a Senior Backend Engineer (Python), you will play a pivotal role in a greenfield opportunity to reshape the future of the wellness and fitness industry. You will be instrumental in crafting a new, disruptive product experience and the underlying system architecture that powers it. This involves spearheading the development of a highly personalized, coach-like experience that provides holistic care to our users across all aspects of wellness and fitness. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, software engineers, content producers, data experts, and infrastructure teams to bring this vision to life. Your day-to-day will involve deep engagement in cross-functional product development, ensuring our platforms remain robust, scalable, and efficient, while advocating for highly iterative development approaches and data-driven decision-making. You will be a key contributor to evolving existing content management systems, ensuring they seamlessly integrate with the new product experience.

This means advocating for and implementing technical solutions and highly iterative development practices that allow for rapid testing and iteration while maintaining the highest standards of quality. Your technical foundation will be critical, involving hands-on backend engineering, experience with relational and non-relational databases, and proficiency with AWS infrastructure. You will be encouraged to adopt a language and tool-agnostic approach, picking the right tool for each challenge, though Python is our primary programming language, and experience with it or Kotlin is a plus.
