📋 Description

• Senior Backend Engineer role focused on building and scaling RC Capital, a new financial services product line at RevenueCat, blending product strategy, financial modeling, and capital markets execution.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing Daily Payouts for rapid scaling by improving fraud detection, monitoring, and onboarding automation; building next-gen products like card-based withdrawals and lending; collaborating with data science and cross-functional teams; debugging production issues; and contributing to internal tools and customer support workflows.
• RevenueCat is a remote-first company of 120+ employees across 25 countries, trusted by over 40% of newly shipped subscription apps and processing $10B+ in annual purchase volume, guided by values like Customer Obsession, Always Be Shipping, Own It, and Balance.
• The role offers the opportunity to shape a zero-to-one business line, work closely with leadership, gain deep experience in fintech systems and financial product development, and make tangible impact on developers’ revenue growth globally.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer designing and maintaining complex, large, or growing systems
• Experience in fintech with background in designing and maintaining complex financial systems at scale
• Comfortable writing and debugging SQL
• Excellent command of at least one mainstream programming language
• Ability to ship high-quality code using good testing practices in iterative cycles
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in a fully remote culture
