- • As a Senior Backend / Server Engineer at Finvari Technologies Inc., you will play a pivotal role in transforming how construction companies manage payments by building scalable, innovative software that eliminates manual financial workflows and empowers industry leaders to focus on infrastructure development. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and scalability of a mission-critical SaaS platform used by midsize to large construction firms.
- • You will design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript in a serverless GCP environment, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security while collaborating closely with product, design, and business teams to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, testable, and scalable code; optimizing database interactions with both SQL and NoSQL systems; participating in code reviews; debugging production issues; and contributing to architectural decisions that support long-term platform growth.
- • You will work side-by-side with customers, engineers, and business stakeholders to invent best-in-industry tools for construction finance and accounting, gaining deep domain insights while shaping product direction through hands-on collaboration.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- • Expert knowledge of a statically typed language, ideally Java or TypeScript
- • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases
- • BSc. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- • Self-motivated and enthusiastic about building great software in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
- • Comfortable interacting with customers and collaborating across engineering, product, and business teams
