- • Senior Backend Software Engineer role focused on building and scaling an AI-forward care delivery platform for migraine treatment, impacting 40 million Americans suffering from this condition.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with design, operations, and clinical teams to translate patient and provider needs into technical solutions, architecting and building key platform features, and owning the full delivery cycle including testing, deployment, and production reliability.
- • Part of an early-stage, mission-driven engineering team backed by Precursor Ventures and 1843 Capital, working alongside Stanford-trained medical leadership and experienced engineers from Meta, Google, and Oracle to improve patient outcomes in a $112B underserved market.
- • Opportunity to shape engineering culture and technical strategy as an early employee, with clear pathways for career growth in both individual contributor and management tracks while working on innovative healthcare technology using Elixir, Phoenix, LiveView, AWS, Postgres, Terraform, and GitHub Actions.
🎯 Requirements
- • Mid to senior-level engineering experience with modern web frameworks such as Phoenix, Rails, or Django
- • Strong product intuition and ability to balance speed versus scalability tradeoffs
- • Comfort with early-stage startup ambiguity, collaboration, and willingness to wear multiple hats
