  • • Dyson is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Brand Manager to join its India marketing team, based in the Gurgaon office. This pivotal role is instrumental in driving the growth and establishing the reputation of Dyson's innovative Home Care categories (including Floor Care, Environmental Control, and Lighting) within the Indian market. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing for India, this individual contributor position offers a unique opportunity to lead significant year-on-year growth and contribute to category building in a rapidly evolving market landscape.
  • • The core of this role involves devising and executing a comprehensive integrated marketing and operations plan. This requires a deep understanding of the consumer, the competitive landscape, and the digital and e-commerce environment. You will be responsible for developing robust category strategies, encompassing portfolio and range planning, pricing strategies, consumer offerings, and impactful consumer activations and campaigns. These strategies must align with Dyson's global new product development (NPD) portfolio and marketing initiatives, ensuring a cohesive and powerful brand presence.
  • • A key responsibility is to translate these strategies into actionable plans that achieve ambitious share growth, funnel metric improvements, and P&L targets. This includes meticulous management of the category budget and full ownership of the annual planning process, demanding strong financial acumen and strategic foresight.
  • • The Senior Brand Manager will also spearhead the development and execution of the communication strategy, with a primary focus on digital media. This involves crafting compelling creative briefs, supporting creative production and adaptations, and securing global approval for product claims. Collaboration with the media team will be essential to translate the communication strategy into an effective media plan. You will work closely with internal PR and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of these plans and will be tasked with continuously reviewing the effectiveness and efficiency of media spending, proposing ongoing optimizations to maximize ROI.
  • • Furthermore, you will work in close partnership with the Marketing Manager to deliver critical product initiatives, including new product launches and promotional activities. This involves developing detailed project calendars, managing resources effectively, and ensuring all stakeholders, both internal and external, are aligned and engaged for successful product introductions. End-to-end project management and complete ownership of all NPD launches are paramount to this role.
  • • Beyond these core responsibilities, the Senior Brand Manager will contribute to the development of a long-term vision and strategic roadmap for the category, working in tandem with Global Commercial teams. This includes assisting in the creation of product, proposition, and ranging roadmaps. Seamless collaboration with a diverse range of internal and external cross-functional teams, including global and regional counterparts, is crucial for success. The role demands an entrepreneurial spirit, a willingness to embrace ambiguity, and the courage to take calculated risks, all driven by a strong desire to win and a passion for making things happen.
  • • The ideal candidate will possess an engineering spirit – being direct, tenacious, and committed to continuous improvement through iteration and learning. An engineering background would be a significant advantage.
