  • • Serve as a strategic advisor and hands-on contributor to elevate Appodeal Accelerator’s developer acquisition strategy by shaping sourcing priorities and refining business development frameworks.
  • • Advise on target regions, genres, and studio profiles to optimize the pipeline of high-potential mobile game developers for partnership and investment.
  • • Help refine and improve developer acquisition channels and partnerships to increase the quality and volume of viable opportunities.
  • • Review high-priority developer opportunities and provide expert assessments on product potential, market fit, and commercial viability.
  • • Deliver structured recommendations on which studios and games should advance within the Accelerator pipeline based on strategic criteria.
  • • Audit and suggest improvements to the business development pipeline, qualification frameworks, and lead scoring systems to enhance conversion rates.
  • • Identify bottlenecks in the BD process and recommend best practices for prioritization, tracking, and operational efficiency.
  • • Advise on partnership structures, deal terms, and negotiation approaches for complex or high-value collaborations with mobile game studios.
  • • Provide strategic guidance to align expectations between Appodeal Accelerator and external developers on funding, monetization, and UA support.
  • • Share market intelligence on emerging trends, genres, and developer ecosystems to inform Accelerator sourcing priorities and greenlight criteria.
  • • Contribute to the design and improvement of testing frameworks and product filters used to evaluate game concepts and studio potential.
  • • Operate in a flexible, part-time advisory capacity with focus on high-impact decisions rather than day-to-day execution.
  • • Collaborate closely with leadership, Publishing, UA, and Product teams to ensure alignment on strategic priorities and partnership outcomes.
  • • Participate in key syncs such as pipeline reviews and strategic planning sessions as needed to drive informed decision-making.
  • • Bring an independent, structured, and outcome-focused approach to advisory work, influencing founders and senior stakeholders through clear communication and data-driven insights.
  • • Leverage deep industry experience in mobile gaming to identify high-potential studios and contribute to building scalable, efficient business development systems.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of experience in mobile gaming (publishing, business development, user acquisition, product, or partnerships)
  • • Strong industry network and proven ability to identify high-potential mobile game studios
  • • Deep understanding of game performance drivers including retention, LTV, CPI, and monetization
  • • Strategic mindset with experience building or advising on business development functions
  • • Comfortable operating as an independent advisor: structured, outcome-focused, and self-directed
  • • Strong communicator with ability to influence founders and senior stakeholders
