  • • Lead strategic business development initiatives to expand Shield AI’s market presence in Europe and key international regions, focusing on defense, government, and critical infrastructure sectors.
  • • Identify, qualify, and cultivate high-value partnerships with defense contractors, government agencies, and international military organizations to drive adoption of V-BAT, X-BAT, Hivemind Enterprise, and Hivemind Vision products.
  • • Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies tailored to regional regulatory environments, procurement processes, and security compliance requirements.
  • • Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, including defense procurement officers, program managers, and senior military leadership, to articulate the operational value and mission-critical advantages of Shield AI’s autonomous systems.
  • • Collaborate with engineering, product, and legal teams to align customer requirements with product capabilities and ensure compliance with export control regulations and international defense standards.
  • • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to senior decision-makers, leveraging technical understanding and mission-focused messaging to secure contracts and long-term partnerships.
  • • Conduct market intelligence gathering to track competitor activity, emerging defense technologies, and evolving geopolitical threats that impact demand for autonomous aerial systems.
  • • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from initial outreach through contract negotiation and closure, working closely with finance and operations to ensure timely delivery and customer onboarding.
  • • Represent Shield AI at international defense exhibitions, industry conferences, and government-sponsored events to build brand credibility and generate qualified leads.
  • • Maintain accurate CRM records and forecast sales pipelines with precision, providing regular updates to executive leadership on progress, risks, and opportunities.
  • • Build and nurture relationships with key defense industry influencers, think tanks, and policy makers to shape long-term market positioning and advocacy for autonomous systems in modern warfare.
  • • Ensure all business development activities adhere to Shield AI’s ethical standards, corporate values, and commitment to protecting service members and civilians through responsible technology deployment.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven track record in business development within the defense, aerospace, or government technology sector
  • • Deep understanding of international defense procurement processes and regulatory frameworks (e.g., ITAR, EAR, DDTC)
  • • Experience selling autonomous systems, UAVs, AI-powered surveillance, or military-grade software platforms to government or military clients
  • • Strong ability to navigate complex organizational structures and build relationships with senior military and government officials
  • • Fluency in English; additional European language proficiency preferred
  • • Willingness to travel extensively across Europe, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region
