  • • Own the end-to-end analytics lifecycle—from raw data in Snowflake to board-level insights—ensuring every metric is accurate, timely, and tied to ActiveCampaign’s strategic goals.
  • • Serve as the go-to strategic consultant for VPs and executives, translating open-ended business questions into rigorous analytical plans, then delivering crisp narratives that drive multi-million-dollar decisions.
  • • Design and maintain scalable, self-service dashboards in Looker/Tableau/QuickSight that democratize data across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success, cutting ad-hoc request volume by 30% within your first six months.
  • • Engineer robust data models that power critical financial KPIs—ARR, net revenue retention, churn cohorts, GAAP revenue recognition—while instituting automated validation checks that raise data-trust scores above 95%.
  • • Lead exploratory deep-dives using statistical inference, predictive modeling, and emerging LLM techniques to uncover hidden levers for growth, cost savings, and customer experience improvements.
  • • Champion data governance: author clear documentation, set SLAs, and mentor junior analysts on SQL best practices, turning Snowflake into the single source of truth for 900+ global employees.
  • • Partner cross-functionally to define OKRs, design A/B tests, and measure experiment outcomes, ensuring every initiative has a quantifiable impact on pipeline velocity and customer lifetime value.
  • • Continuously integrate AI agents and automation into your workflow—think anomaly detection bots, natural-language query interfaces, and auto-generated executive briefings—freeing you to focus on higher-order strategy.
  • • Present findings in compelling visual stories that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences, translating complex regressions into three-bullet takeaways that executives can act on immediately.
  • • Stay ahead of the curve: evaluate new tools, prototype in dbt or Python, and share learnings through lunch-and-learns, elevating the entire BI practice at ActiveCampaign.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3–5 years in BI, analytics, or data science roles with a proven record of influencing executive decisions through data.
  • • Expert-level SQL (2+ years) and hands-on experience modeling data in cloud warehouses (Snowflake preferred).
  • • Advanced proficiency in at least one modern BI visualization stack: Looker, Tableau, or QuickSight.
  • • Demonstrated ability to simplify complex analyses into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • • Experience integrating AI/ML techniques or AI agents into analytics workflows is a strong plus.
  • • Familiarity with SaaS financial metrics—ARR, GAAP revenue, retention modeling—is highly desirable.
