Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end travel journey for our high-value corporate clients, delivering a 7-star experience that turns every trip into a competitive advantage for their business. You will manage complex multi-leg European and domestic itineraries, re-routing executives at a moment’s notice when geopolitical events, weather, or last-minute board meetings demand it.
- • Master the Galileo GDS like a power user—queue management, automated and manual re-issuance, fare construction, and hidden-city ticketing—so that every booking is optimized for cost, convenience, and traveler preference. You will be the go-to Galileo expert for the entire Birmingham pod, mentoring juniors and troubleshooting the trickiest PNRs.
- • Communicate across live chat, phone, and email with the polish of a concierge and the speed of a startup. Whether it’s a 6 a.m. call from a CFO stuck in Frankfurt or a Slack ping at 10 p.m. from a sales rep whose flight just got cancelled, you respond with empathy, clarity, and solutions that feel effortless to the traveler.
- • Build and nurture long-term client relationships by proactively monitoring traveler preferences, loyalty-program tiers, and policy nuances. You will flag opportunities for upgrades, carbon-offset options, or preferred hotel partnerships before the traveler even thinks to ask.
- • Hit—and help the team exceed—stringent SLA targets: 30-second chat response, sub-2-minute phone pickup, 99.5 % booking accuracy, and zero un-desked queues by 11 p.m. You will own your KPI dashboard and iterate daily to shave seconds off every interaction.
- • Serve as the escalation point for junior consultants, performing spot-checks on ticketing accuracy, coaching on fare rules, and sharing Galileo hacks that cut reissue time in half. Your feedback loop will raise the bar for the entire Birmingham remote hub.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Finance, and Supplier Relations to surface traveler pain points and influence roadmap priorities. Your frontline insights will shape new automation features that eliminate shadow work for thousands of users.
- • Champion our “IRL-first” culture by flying into the Birmingham hub for quarterly training sprints, hack-days, and culture events. You will leave each session with new tools, deeper cross-team relationships, and renewed energy to serve clients from your home office.
- • Rotate through weekend and bank-holiday coverage (roughly one weekend in four) ensuring our 24/7 promise is real for global clients. You will swap shifts flexibly with teammates so everyone gets re-charge time.
- • Contribute to continuous-improvement rituals: weekly retro calls, Slack #win-room celebrations, and a living playbook of Galileo macros. Your ideas will be tested, shipped, and scaled across all 1,800 Perk employees.
