📋 Description

• Senior Claims Examiner (Virtual) role at Prudential Financial, Inc. focused on adjudicating group life insurance claims with accuracy, timeliness, and empathy, supporting beneficiaries during difficult times of loss.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and processing claims, handling inbound and outbound calls to assist beneficiaries, verifying claim information, conducting investigations, calculating benefits payable amounts, and approving or denying claims per procedures.
• Part of the U.S. Back Office Customer Service (BOCS) organization’s Group Life Claim Team within the Specialized Client Concierge Team, which delivers proactive, high-touch, white-glove service throughout the claim lifecycle.
• Opportunity to develop expertise in life insurance claims adjudication, regulatory compliance, customer service in sensitive situations, and cross-functional collaboration while contributing to a customer-obsessed operating model.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
• Working knowledge of life or disability claims (preferred)
• Ability to handle calls via cell phone (unlimited data/minutes) or landline for virtual work
• Reliable internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download speed) and a quiet, distraction-free workspace
• Strong customer service skills, empathy, and willingness to support beneficiaries during times of loss
