📋 Description

• Senior Clearing Analyst responsible for owning clearing operations across Control Desk, Clearinghouse, DCO, DCM, and ISV functions at Polymarket, a CFTC-regulated Designated Contract Market and Derivatives Clearing Organization, ensuring operational integrity in a high-stakes, shift-based role (4:00 PM – 12:30 AM) that serves as the operational backstop when automated systems fall short.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating and improving the DCO clearing environment, owning and updating SOPs and runbooks, partnering with cross-functional teams (Control Desk, Finance, Treasury, Compliance, Product, Engineering, ISV, CX) to maintain clearing operations, supporting treasury and settlement workflows, defining and enforcing SLAs, identifying operational gaps, and collaborating with Product and Engineering to build clearing tools and exception management workflows.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in financial markets operations with direct, demonstrated depth across clearing, settlement, and treasury
• Hands-on experience with treasury management, liquidity operations, cash movement, and reconciliation workflows
• Strong working knowledge of clearing workflows, trade lifecycle, reconciliation, settlement, operational controls, and escalation management
• Experience operating in regulated financial services environments with a practical understanding of compliance and control requirements
• Ability to independently create SOPs, process maps, controls documentation, and runbooks
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work fluidly across business, compliance, finance, and technical teams
