📋 Description

• Senior Commercial Legal Counsel, EMEA role at Mistral AI focused on supporting business growth through strategic contract drafting, negotiation, and compliance in the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and advising on AI-related service agreements, negotiating contracts with suppliers, partners, and customers, staying updated on AI regulatory developments, collaborating with technical and business teams for compliant AI deployment, providing legal training to the business, and assisting on other legal matters such as labor, corporate, and competition law.

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree in law; bar admission is a plus
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in technology or AI-focused environments involving contract negotiation
• Strong knowledge of data privacy, intellectual property, contract law, liability, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly
• Adaptability, proactive mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
