- • Lead the growth, adoption, and usage of Adyen’s services within the global Financial Services and Insurance sectors, with a primary focus on increasing market share and penetration in banking license markets (US, UK, EU).
- • Partner with Product Marketing to shape and communicate go-to-market strategy and product positioning to global Sales, Account Management, and Partnerships teams.
- • Collaborate with regional Heads of Sales and their vertical teams to execute the Financial Services and Insurance market strategy, including identifying and targeting key new logos and driving prospecting efforts.
- • Tailor Adyen’s value propositions to address specific needs of prospects in Financial Services and Insurance, and drive the sales process to close deals and increase account penetration.
- • Develop and refine segmentation of the Financial Services and Insurance customer portfolio to identify opportunities in new sub-verticals, markets, and countries, with clear prioritization to maximize impact.
- • Create and articulate product-specific value propositions that highlight Adyen’s competitive differentiation within the Financial Services and Insurance industries.
- • Source and analyze feedback from global customers and internal Sales/Account Management teams to identify product gaps and market opportunities.
- • Partner with Product and Compliance teams to prioritize, develop, and launch new solutions aligned with Adyen’s vision for Financial Services and Insurance.
- • Develop and maintain internal and external educational materials, collateral, and commercial documentation specific to the Financial Services and Insurance verticals.
- • Externally represent Adyen as a thought leader in the Financial Services sector through industry engagement and public presence.
- • Partner with Marketing on global marketing, PR, and event strategy to align with growth objectives in Financial Services and Insurance markets.
- • Support broader Commercial Strategy team efforts in converting Financial Services opportunities and advancing commercial initiatives across the wider Financial Services industry.
- • Travel internationally to support commercial activities, client engagements, and market development initiatives.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in commercial strategy or business consulting within the technology sector, preferably financial technology, with a strong background in Financial Services and/or Insurance.
- • Expert knowledge of Financial Services and Insurance markets, including market trends, competitive dynamics, operating models, and regulatory environments.
- • Significant experience working with leading Financial Services and Insurance clients to drive financial success.
- • Experience in both Enterprise and Platform business models is a distinct plus.
- • Proven ability to develop strong relationships with C-level executives at major financial institutions and insurance carriers.
- • Willingness to travel internationally.
