  • • The Senior Compliance Analyst at Avesis Incorporated plays a critical role in safeguarding the company’s regulatory standing by leading audit coordination and corrective action management for health plan and regulatory audits, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and internal compliance standards while promoting a culture of ethics and accountability across the organization.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating all aspects of regulatory and client audits—such as pre-site deliverables, mock audits, on-site visits, logistics, and written responses to audit reports—while synthesizing audit findings, scope, recommendations, and corrective action plans into clear written and oral reports for Compliance and business operations leadership.
  • • The role involves simultaneously managing multiple audits and CAPs (Corrective Action Plans), collaborating across business areas to gather necessary information within deadlines, developing compliance communications, educating business partners on audit processes, and tracking and reporting audit and CAP data with precision.
  • • The analyst will work closely with Legal Counsel as needed, problem-solve with business partners on issue resolution, research and articulate regulatory and contractual requirements, and perform additional duties as assigned by management, all while maintaining independence and strong time management.
  • • As part of the Audit and Corrections team within the Compliance Department, the analyst contributes to a function dedicated to preventing, detecting, and correcting compliance risks that could impact operational effectiveness, legal standing, and reputation, while fostering transparency and ethical behavior enterprise-wide.
  • • This role offers the opportunity to deepen expertise in healthcare compliance, particularly in Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care environments, while developing leadership in audit lifecycle management, regulatory interpretation, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement—skills highly transferable across regulated industries.
  • • The analyst will grow professionally through exposure to complex regulatory frameworks, enhance analytical and communication abilities, and contribute to organizational integrity by ensuring compliance processes are not only followed but continuously improved.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or a related field, or equivalent education and work experience
  • • 3+ years of experience in compliance, privacy, regulatory affairs, or audit support within a highly regulated industry, preferably government, healthcare, or managed care
  • • Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; strong attention to detail; ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and perform under pressure
  • • Reliable internet service (minimum 50 Mbps download / 25 Mbps upload, hardwired, non-VPN) to support remote work; willingness to travel up to 25% as needed
