You will own end-to-end workstreams that reduce cost, elevate quality, and improve patient outcomes—translating raw clinical and financial data into board-ready strategies that executives act on within 90 days.
- • Lead complex, multi-million-dollar engagements from diagnostic through implementation. Scope includes mapping current-state workflows, identifying gaps against evidence-based best practices, re-engineering care processes, and installing KPI-driven governance that sustains gains long after you leave.
- • Own the analytics engine. Extract, validate, and synthesize data from Premier and PINC AI databases, EMRs, cost-accounting systems, and external claims repositories. Build dynamic Tableau/SQL/Excel models that pinpoint unwarranted clinical variation, excess length-of-stay, supply-cost outliers, and readmission drivers—then translate findings into prioritized, high-ROI interventions.
- • Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact for assigned workstreams. Conduct executive interviews, facilitate multi-disciplinary workshops with physicians, nurses, and finance leaders, and present findings to C-suite and board committees. Your storytelling turns skepticism into sponsorship and converts clinicians into champions.
- • Architect implementation roadmaps that balance quick wins (30-day savings) with multi-year transformation. Design new staffing models, care protocols, and technology workflows; draft policy and procedure updates; and embed change-management playbooks that ensure adoption rates above 80 %.
- • Manage project economics like a P&L owner. Build and monitor detailed budgets, resource plans, and risk registers. Track utilization against 60 % billable target, escalate scope creep early, and negotiate change orders that protect margin while exceeding client expectations.
- • Elevate Premier’s intellectual capital. Contribute to white papers, webinars, and conference presentations; codify new methodologies into reusable assets; and mentor junior consultants so the entire practice scales faster than the market demand.
- • Champion continuous learning. Master Premier’s SaaS platforms (e.g., PINC AI Clinical Intelligence, Premier Supply Chain Advisor) and maintain Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt currency. Complete all annual training and seek stretch assignments that expand your clinical, financial, and digital-health acumen.
- • Spot and cultivate new revenue opportunities. While delivering current engagements, listen for adjacent pain points—population health, workforce optimization, pharmacy cost reduction—and tee up follow-on proposals that deepen Premier’s footprint and your own growth trajectory.
- • Travel 61–80 % across the U.S., working remotely when not on site. Balance autonomy with collaboration, remaining highly responsive to clients and internal teams while maintaining Premier’s culture of integrity, curiosity, and measurable impact.
