- • Lead client engagements focused on healthcare revenue integrity, charge capture, charge reconciliation, and Epic EHR optimization to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
- • Evaluate the full spectrum of clients’ revenue integrity operations using a data-driven approach to identify trends, benchmark performance, and isolate root causes of revenue leakage or inefficiency.
- • Design and oversee implementation of comprehensive recommendations addressing people, process, and technology improvements across hospital and professional charging environments.
- • Redefine governance structures, enhance staff roles and training, streamline charge workflows, and optimize Epic system functionality to align with organizational objectives and measurable outcomes.
- • Partner with healthcare clients to assess current-state charge capture operations and uncover financial or operational opportunities through data analysis and evidence-based insights.
- • Translate data insights into actionable operational improvements that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- • Present findings and recommendations to large internal and external stakeholder groups, including senior leadership and clinical/financial teams.
- • Manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision in a dynamic consulting environment while delivering impactful solutions under tight deadlines.
- • Drive operational process improvement and change management initiatives within hospitals and health systems to optimize revenue cycle performance.
- • Utilize intermediate to advanced Excel skills for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting to support decision-making and client deliverables.
- • Mentor junior team members and contribute to practice development through knowledge sharing and project leadership.
- • Collaborate across cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of revenue integrity projects from assessment through implementation.
- • Maintain awareness of evolving healthcare regulations, reimbursement models, and EHR system capabilities to inform client strategies.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree
- • 5+ years of revenue cycle management experience focused on optimization and performance improvement (Managing Consultant) / 3+ years (Senior Consultant)
- • 5+ years of management consulting, professional services, or project management experience (Managing Consultant) / 3+ years (Senior Consultant)
- • Demonstrated ability to present to large groups, both externally and within the practice
- • Proven success in driving operational process improvement and change management for revenue cycle optimization projects within hospitals and/or health systems
- • Intermediate to advanced data manipulation and analytical skills using Excel
