• Your primary responsibility will be to act as a trusted advisor and technical expert for our clients, guiding them through the implementation and optimization of M-Files solutions. This involves deeply understanding their business challenges, identifying opportunities for improvement, and architecting and configuring the M-Files platform to meet their unique needs. You will leverage your extensive experience to design, develop, and deploy customized solutions that drive tangible business value.
• Key to this role is your ability to translate complex business requirements into effective M-Files configurations. You will be involved in all phases of the project lifecycle, from initial discovery and requirements gathering to solution design, implementation, testing, training, and post-go-live support. This includes configuring metadata structures, workflows, permissions, integrations, and user interfaces to create seamless and intuitive user experiences.
• You will collaborate closely with clients' IT departments, business stakeholders, and end-users to ensure successful adoption and maximum utilization of the M-Files system. This requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively manage expectations, provide clear guidance, and build strong, lasting relationships.
• Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that may arise during implementation or in the production environment. Your analytical skills and problem-solving abilities will be essential in diagnosing issues, developing workarounds, and implementing permanent solutions.
• This role also involves contributing to the continuous improvement of our implementation methodologies and best practices. You will share your knowledge and insights with the wider M-Files team, helping to elevate our collective expertise and ensure we remain at the cutting edge of document management technology.
• You will be expected to stay abreast of the latest advancements in M-Files technology, AI, and related fields, and to proactively identify how these can be leveraged to benefit our clients. This includes understanding new features, modules, and integration capabilities, and potentially contributing to pre-sales activities by providing technical expertise and demonstrations.
• The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of enterprise content management (ECM) principles, information governance, and business process automation. Experience with various industries and their specific compliance requirements will be a significant advantage. You will be comfortable working independently in a remote setting, demonstrating self-discipline and a proactive approach to managing your workload and client engagements.

• Proven experience as a consultant or systems specialist implementing and configuring enterprise content management (ECM) or document management systems, with a strong preference for M-Files.
• Deep understanding of metadata-driven architecture, workflow automation, and information governance principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients at all levels.
• Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken).
