• • As Senior Counsel, Product Legal, you will be deeply embedded with the Coinbase Developer team, acting as a key legal advisor and strategic partner.
• • Collaborate closely on a daily basis with product managers, engineers, UI/UX designers, and a diverse range of cross-departmental colleagues, including privacy, regulatory, international counsel, Compliance, and Finance.
• • Take a leadership role in providing thought-provoking legal guidance on all aspects of product development and implementation, from initial concept to sunsetting.
• • Offer comprehensive legal counsel throughout the entire product lifecycle, encompassing ideation, development, launch, ongoing operation, and eventual retirement of products.
• • Proactively identify potential legal and business risks, developing creative and practical solutions to navigate the complexities of a rapidly evolving industry.
• • Ensure global legal compliance, addressing both U.S. domestic and international legal considerations for all product initiatives.
• • Skillfully identify legal issues that may extend beyond your immediate expertise, driving their resolution by collaborating effectively with other members of the Coinbase legal team and external counsel.
• • Foster strong cross-functional partnerships with key stakeholders across various departments, including Compliance, Communications, Finance, Security, and Data Analytics, ensuring the right expertise is brought to bear on every challenge.
• • Respond with agility and precision to a wide spectrum of sophisticated legal inquiries, coordinating seamlessly with Legal department colleagues to deliver timely, well-reasoned, and actionable advice.
