📋 Description

• Senior Counsel, Product, Payments & Compliance role at Polygon Labs, a global blockchain payments company building infrastructure to move money instantly and reliably at internet scale, with the mission to move all money onchain.
• Serve as primary legal advisor to product and engineering teams developing blockchain-based payments and financial infrastructure; provide proactive legal and regulatory guidance on US financial services laws including money transmission and payments regulation; design, implement, and evolve internal compliance policies and product governance frameworks aligned with US regulatory expectations.
• Partner with compliance, risk, and security teams to embed controls into product design and engineering workflows, including KYC, AML, sanctions, and data privacy; translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable guidance for product, engineering, and business teams; manage external counsel on specialized regulatory matters and support internal reviews related to product and operational risk.
• Join a mission-driven team at Polygon Labs building the Polygon Open Money Stack to enable instant, reliable money movement anywhere; gain deep expertise in blockchain-based payments regulation while shaping compliant financial infrastructure for global banks, fintechs, enterprises, and consumer applications; develop leadership in operationalizing compliance frameworks that enable responsible innovation in financial technology.
