• • Dive deep into primary-market indentures, credit agreements and intercreditor terms as soon as deals launch. Within hours you will deliver plain-English summaries, red-flag alerts and relative-value comparisons that help clients decide whether to anchor, scale back or pass.
• • Produce thematic secondary-market briefs on covenant erosion, portability trends, restricted-payment capacity and EBITDA add-back inflation. Your work will be syndicated on the 9fin platform, quoted by journalists and cited in pitch-books across Wall Street.
• • Field real-time client questions via chat, email and video. Whether it is a hedge fund asking about incremental debt baskets or an investment bank needing a quick side-by-side with precedent, you will provide authoritative answers that strengthen 9fin’s reputation as the fastest legal research desk in the market.
• • Leverage 9fin’s proprietary NLP and data-capture tools to scale your expertise. You will train algorithms to recognise change-of-control triggers, most-favoured-lender clauses and ratio-based carve-outs, ensuring our covenant database remains the most comprehensive and accurate in existence.
• • Represent 9fin externally as a recognised thought-leader. You will host webinars, record podcast segments, speak at industry conferences and contribute op-eds to turn your legal acumen into marketing gravity that drives new-logo acquisition and existing-client expansion.
• • Collaborate cross-functionally with credit analysts, distressed specialists, ESG researchers and product engineers. Your legal lens will sharpen their models, while their market colour will refine your covenant interpretations, creating a virtuous feedback loop that keeps 9fin ahead of slower, traditional data providers.
• • Mentor junior legal hires and interns, building a second line of covenant expertise so the team can cover more deals, more jurisdictions and more asset classes without sacrificing quality or speed.
