The Financial Health team is at the forefront of this mission, dedicated to providing thoughtful support and practical solutions to customers facing financial difficulties.
• • As a Senior Credit Analyst within the Financial Health team, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing credit risk strategies focused on collections and recoveries. Your expertise will guide the creation of strategies that effectively engage customers and support their journey back to financial stability. This role involves assessing the impact of new financial health treatments and forecasting the movement of the arrears portfolio across all our lending products, including Flex, personal loans, and overdrafts.
• • You will collaborate closely with colleagues across Borrowing, Finance, and Operational teams to ensure our Financial Health product offering delivers maximum value to both our customers and the business. This cross-functional teamwork is key to our success in supporting customers through difficult financial periods.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass working on initiatives aimed at improving overall portfolio health by engaging and rehabilitating customers experiencing financial distress. You will be responsible for supporting the design and rollout of financial health strategies by identifying patterns within data and translating these into actionable insights.
• • A core part of your role will be to design and monitor impact assessment and forecasting models for various financial health activities. This includes payment plans, promises, and customer engagement strategies both before and during arrears.
• • You will develop, maintain, and monitor our credit models to accurately assess the net present value of arrears cohorts and segments, providing critical data to drive strategic business decisions.
• • This position requires close collaboration with individuals from engineering, marketing, product, risk, and control departments to design and implement product changes that enhance customer financial well-being.
• • You will also support the design and rollout of new products and customer journeys, ensuring they are aligned with our financial health objectives.
• • A significant aspect of your role will involve assessing the future performance of the arrears portfolio across all products. You will work with the Capital Impairment Forecasting team to contribute to budget and forecast planning for the arrears portfolio, ensuring the accuracy of our financial projections.
• • Furthermore, you will collaborate with Operational teams to ensure precise forecasting of Financial Health activities and to accurately predict related capacity requirements.

• • We are looking for L40 Credit Analysts, aligning with our Data Progression Framework. The interview process is structured to assess your suitability thoroughly, typically involving a recruiter call, an initial call, a take-home task, and a final stage comprising three interviews: a case study, a role-specific interview, and a values interview. We aim for a process duration of 3-4 weeks but are flexible around your availability.
