- • As a Senior Customer Engineer, Federal at Armada Group, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in bridging technical expertise and sales acumen to deliver transformative edge infrastructure solutions to U.S. federal and defense customers. Your work will directly support Armada’s mission to bridge the digital divide by enabling secure, sovereign AI/ML and connectivity in some of the world’s most remote and mission-critical environments.
- • Day to day, you will provide expert technical guidance to customers and sales teams, lead technical demonstrations and proof-of-concepts, collaborate cross-functionally on solution scoping and proposal development, cultivate trusted advisor relationships with technical decision-makers, and stay ahead of industry trends to drive product innovation. You will also enable field teams through training and support, ensuring consistent delivery of Armada’s modular data center, edge AI, and asset management solutions.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in pre-sales engineering for federal and edge infrastructure markets, gain hands-on experience with AI/ML at the edge, modular data centers, and IoT asset telemetry, and develop influence as a trusted technical advisor. 🎯 Requirements
- • U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a Secret or higher security clearance
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree is a plus
- • 5+ years proven experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, or solution architecture supporting technical products
- • Conceptual understanding of networking and connectivity fundamentals (IP addressing, firewalls, SD-WAN, satellite/cellular systems like Starlink, LTE/5G)
- • Proficiency in at least one core technical domain: AI/ML infrastructure, connected devices, or data center systems
- • Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- • Strong problem-solving mindset with ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity
- • Self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments and manages multiple priorities effectively
- • Willingness and ability to travel, including potential international travel as business needs dictate
