  • • The Senior Customer Success Manager is a critical revenue protection role responsible for owning and managing large, complex health plan accounts at Availity, serving as the primary point of contact to build trusted relationships and ensure successful outcomes across the customer lifecycle in a highly matrixed environment.
  • • This role directly impacts Availity’s mission to transform healthcare by safeguarding recurring revenue, driving retention, and identifying expansion opportunities through proactive risk mitigation and value-driven partnerships with sophisticated healthcare stakeholders.
  • • Day to day, the Senior Customer Success Manager will own and manage assigned health plan accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for customer success and relationship management, building strong, trusted relationships with client stakeholders including navigating difficult conversations and escalations with professionalism and tact.
  • • They will coordinate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Technical Account Management, and other internal teams to shepherd issues through resolution, tracking and managing complex client issues to ensure accountability, progress, and timely outcomes even when direct ownership sits with another team.
  • • The role involves driving customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term success by proactively identifying risks and opportunities within assigned accounts, identifying opportunities to expand value and protect recurring revenue by partnering with internal teams as needed (non-quota carrying), and representing the customer internally to ensure alignment between client needs and organizational priorities.

  • • In this role, the individual will develop deep expertise in healthcare payer dynamics, enhance their ability to influence without authority in complex matrixed organizations, and grow their strategic account management skills while contributing to Availity’s processing of over 12 billion transactions annually.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Experience managing enterprise or complex customer accounts in healthcare, healthcare technology, or a related environment.
  • • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage confidently with experienced and executive-level stakeholders.
  • • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes through influence rather than authority.
  • • Comfort handling escalations and facilitating resolution across multiple internal teams.
  • • Excellent communication, judgment, and organizational skills.
  • • Healthcare industry experience preferred; strong soft skills and leadership presence are critical.
