📋 Description

• As a Senior Cyber Security Engineer (ITSecOps) at Codeway, you will be instrumental in establishing and leading our Information Technology Security Operations (ITSecOps) function. This is a pivotal role where you will work directly with IT leadership to architect, implement, and manage the core security infrastructure and processes that protect our rapidly growing global consumer tech company. • In this hands-on role, you will be the architect and guardian of our digital defenses. Your primary responsibility will be to design, deploy, and maintain robust security solutions. This includes taking the lead on the implementation and ongoing management of critical security technologies such as Mobile Device Management (MDM), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR/XDR), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), and Network Access Control (NAC) systems. You will be tasked with continuously improving our endpoint and network security architecture, ensuring it is resilient, scalable, and aligned with industry best practices and emerging threats.
• A significant part of your role will involve operationalizing security. This means defining, implementing, and refining logging, monitoring, and alerting workflows to ensure timely detection of potential security incidents. You will establish and manage comprehensive incident detection and response processes, acting as a key player in mitigating threats and minimizing impact. Furthermore, you will own and drive the vulnerability management lifecycle, from identification and assessment to remediation, ensuring our systems are continuously hardened against exploitation. This includes implementing and overseeing security controls for patch management and defining and enforcing stringent endpoint hardening standards across the organization.
• Beyond technical implementation, you will play a crucial role in shaping Codeway's security posture through policy and governance. You will develop and maintain internal security policies and technical standards, ensuring they are practical, enforceable, and effectively communicated. Conducting regular risk assessments and security reviews will be essential to identify potential weaknesses and proactively address them. You will also manage our relationships with third-party security vendors, tools, and service providers, ensuring they meet our security requirements and deliver value.
• Your expertise will extend to supporting our compliance efforts. You will assist with internal and external audits and compliance initiatives, such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2, ensuring our security practices meet regulatory and customer expectations. Maintaining up-to-date documentation, security procedures, and operational playbooks will be vital for operational efficiency and knowledge transfer. You will also be responsible for integrating security tools seamlessly with our existing IT and infrastructure systems, fostering a cohesive and secure technology environment. 🎯 Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in IT Security, Security Operations, or Infrastructure Security.
• Proven hands-on experience implementing and managing MDM, EDR/XDR, SIEM, and NAC solutions.
• Strong expertise in endpoint security and network security fundamentals, including log management, correlation, and threat detection & incident response.
• Experience building and scaling security processes and infrastructure from scratch is highly preferred.
• Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or a related field.
• Familiarity with scripting (Bash, Python) and core infrastructure concepts such as VPNs, firewalls, and network segmentation.
