• • The Senior Cyber Security Project Manager leads complex, cross‑functional cybersecurity initiatives that advance the bank’s security strategy, maturity goals, and regulatory obligations, playing a critical role in protecting SouthState Bank’s digital assets and ensuring compliance with financial industry standards.
• • Day to day, the role involves leading planning, execution, and delivery of high‑impact cybersecurity projects; partnering with business and technology leaders to shape strategy and scope; facilitating cross‑functional working groups to remove barriers and ensure accountability; developing detailed project plans, schedules, RACI matrices, and risk logs; ensuring adherence to enterprise lifecycle, cyber governance, and regulatory requirements (OCC, GLBA, NIST); coaching and mentoring junior PMO team members; managing communication across Cybersecurity, IT, business lines, and governance committees; and preparing updates for steering committees, senior leaders, and auditors/regulators.
