- • Perform ongoing and ad-hoc research to analyze business performance, data anomalies, and future claim projections for health insurance products serving 3.4 million members.
- • Retrieve and manipulate complex data sets using SQL, SAS, or Python to support actuarial data analytics initiatives.
- • Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of past claims to inform premium rate determination processes.
- • Analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data to identify drivers of business and industry trends in healthcare costs and utilization.
- • Respond to ad hoc data requests with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring all outputs are presented in a clear, organized, and actionable format.
- • Summarize analytical findings into logical, business-ready presentations for stakeholders across actuarial, product, and operations teams.
- • Collaborate with business contacts to translate data insights into effective product and process solutions that support affordable care goals.
- • Leverage AI technologies and tools to enhance data analysis efficiency and predictive modeling capabilities.
- • Ensure all analyses adhere to strict standards of accuracy and attention to detail, with zero tolerance for errors in reporting.
- • Work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple high-priority assignments and critical deadlines.
- • Maintain professional relationships with external vendors and partners to facilitate data exchange and project execution.
- • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to document, visualize, and communicate analytical results.
- • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills to convey technical findings to non-technical audiences.
- • Operate with a customer service orientation, prioritizing the needs of internal stakeholders and aligning outputs with organizational objectives.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5 years of experience in reporting, data analysis, or similar roles
- • Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative or research discipline
- • Proficiency in SQL and/or SAS (or Python) for data retrieval and analysis
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- • Demonstrated curiosity and attention to detail in data work
- • Experience leveraging AI technologies and tools in data analysis
