- • As a Senior Data Engineer at Centene Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how we leverage technology to enhance health outcomes for our 28 million members worldwide. - • Your primary responsibility will be to develop and operationalize robust data pipelines. This involves ensuring data is readily available for consumption by various stakeholders, including those responsible for reporting and advanced analytics. You will manage the entire data lifecycle, from ingestion and transformation to validation, quality assurance, optimization, and orchestration.
- • You will be instrumental in guiding the design and implementation of sophisticated data management procedures. This includes establishing best practices for data staging, ingestion, preparation, provisioning, and secure destruction, utilizing scripts, programs, and automation to streamline these processes.
- • A key aspect of your role will be to provide guidance and mentorship to other data engineers. You will contribute to the design, development, implementation, testing, documentation, and operation of large-scale, high-volume, high-performance data structures specifically tailored for business intelligence and analytics.
- • You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining real-time processing applications and data pipelines, ensuring that critical data flows efficiently and accurately.
- • Ensuring the quality and integrity of technical solutions as data traverses Centene’s diverse environments will be a core function of your role. You will implement measures to guarantee data reliability and accuracy at every stage.
- • Leveraging your senior-level expertise, you will provide critical insights into the evolving data landscape, data processing techniques, storage solutions, and the company's utilization requirements. You will actively drive the team towards adopting and implementing viable, cutting-edge solutions.
- • You will develop, construct, test, and maintain data architectures using advanced programming languages and tools, ensuring scalability and performance.
- • A significant part of your contribution will involve identifying opportunities to improve data reliability, efficiency, and overall quality.
