• • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team, playing a pivotal role in the design, development, and scaling of modern data platforms. This position is instrumental in shaping how we leverage data to drive strategic decisions and enhance client engagements.
• • In this capacity, you will be responsible for leading the creation of robust, scalable, and reliable data pipelines that form the backbone of our data infrastructure. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing data architecture, ensuring the integrity and accessibility of data across various systems, and translating complex business requirements into actionable data solutions.
• • You will collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, software engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders. This collaborative approach ensures that the data solutions we build are not only technically sound but also directly address the needs of the business and empower informed decision-making.
• • A key aspect of this role involves the modernization and migration of legacy data systems to cutting-edge, cloud-native architectures. You will be at the forefront of adopting new technologies and methodologies to enhance performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• • You will design, implement, and maintain high-quality, scalable data pipelines, with a strong emphasis on observability and reliability. This includes building systems that can efficiently ingest, transform, and serve data from multiple disparate sources, creating comprehensive and trusted data assets.
• • The role requires setting up and managing cloud compute and storage resources, primarily on Azure, but with potential exposure to AWS and GCP, based on specific project needs. This includes configuring SaaS/PaaS environments and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.
• • You will be instrumental in designing and implementing centralized Data Hubs that support a wide range of critical functions, including Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) initiatives, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboards, SSO integrations, and seamless data flow across diverse platforms such as MarTech, eCommerce, EdTech, Digital Experience Platforms (DXP), and learning management systems.
• • Developing reusable components for data ingestion, normalization, transformation, and serving is a core responsibility. These components will be foundational for various downstream applications, including Data Warehousing (DWH), reporting, dashboards, and AI/ML use cases.
• • You will champion and implement lightweight, effective data modeling strategies that prioritize performance, maintainability, and scalability, ensuring that our data structures are optimized for current and future needs.
• • Ensuring high availability, data quality, robust observability, strong data governance, and effective cataloguing are paramount. You will establish and enforce best practices in these areas to maintain the integrity and trustworthiness of our data assets.
• • This role offers a unique opportunity to lead significant data initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the strategic direction of our data engineering practice. You will be a key player in transforming raw data into valuable insights that drive business growth and innovation.
• • The position is a full-time role, operating on a 100% remote basis. Candidates must reside and be authorized to work in the United States.
