We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pune. This role is pivotal in architecting and developing the next generation of high-performance, scalable data products and solutions that will underpin HackerOne's ambitious enterprise transformation. You will be instrumental in shifting our operational paradigm from human-powered processes to a sophisticated, data-driven, AI-powered, and human-led agentic operational model.

- • You will provide essential technical leadership, guiding both internal engineers and external development partners. This leadership ensures the highest standards of design quality, operational excellence, and long-term maintainability for all data initiatives. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in shaping and refining our incident and on-call response strategy, developing robust playbooks and processes designed to ensure systems fail gracefully and recover swiftly, minimizing any potential disruption.
- • As a Senior Data Engineer, you are expected to be a force multiplier within the team. 🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of experience in a Data, Engineering, Science, or similar role with a proven track record of leading the design, development, and deployment of AI-first data products and solutions, preferably using Python.
- • Extensive hands-on experience building and optimizing data pipelines, products, and solutions, coupled with strong SQL for data manipulation and programming skills.
- • Deep knowledge of algorithms and data structures, and extensive experience working with various data technologies and tools such as Airflow, Snowflake, Meltano, Fivetran, DBT, Looker, and AWS.
- • Proven track record of successfully championing new initiatives focused on architectural enhancements and having substantial impact across the company, demonstrating your ability to drive positive change and achieve significant results.
