- • As a Senior Data Engineer at Peek Travel Inc., you will help define and realize the vision for trustworthy data across the company, playing a critical role in powering Peek’s AI-driven platform that supports over $7B in bookings for museums, attractions, and tour operators worldwide.
- • You will design, develop, and own data pipelines and models using GCP, DBT, Airflow, and related tools to transform disparate data sources into accurate, performant datasets for business intelligence and product teams, while improving data visualization tooling and contributing to the long-term design of Peek’s AI data serving layer.
- • You will collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to drive data collection, refine data sources, and manage evolving data structures, advocating for self-care and team success in a fast-paced, remote-first environment recognized by Forbes and Built In as a top workplace.
- • You will deepen your expertise in modern data infrastructure, including feature engineering, vector search, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), while growing as a technical leader in a company committed to innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience in a data engineering role with a focus on building data pipelines and modeling
- • 2+ years of direct experience with DBT and/or BigQuery
- • Proficiency with relational databases (Postgres) and SQL
- • Proficiency with data warehouses (BigQuery)
- • Experience with Python
- • Experience with ETL tools and techniques (Airbyte, DBT, Airflow, Pulumi, etc.)
- • Familiarity with modern AI data infrastructure concepts — including embedding pipelines, vector search, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) patterns
- • English fluency required
- • Comfortable working remotely
