- • As a Senior Data Engineer at Autodesk, you will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the Product Development & Manufacturing Solutions (PDMS) Organization by designing and maintaining scalable, reliable data infrastructure that powers product innovation and operational excellence.
- • Your work will directly impact how Autodesk leverages data to improve engineering workflows, manufacturing insights, and customer-facing analytics, ensuring that teams have access to high-quality, timely data to drive strategic initiatives.
- • Day to day, you will apply a product-focused mindset to translate business requirements into technical solutions, architecting extensible data pipelines that support evolving analytical and operational needs across PDMS.
- • You will participate in and lead design reviews to evaluate and select optimal technologies, ensuring alignment with scalability, performance, and maintainability goals while fostering innovation within the data engineering practices.
- • You will develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes using modern tools including Snowflake, dbt, PySpark, Apache Spark, and Airflow, ensuring data is ingested, transformed, and made available for downstream consumption with high fidelity and efficiency.
- • You will build and implement data quality monitoring frameworks, designing metrics and alerts to detect anomalies, track data freshness, and ensure integrity across complex data workflows, proactively addressing issues before they impact stakeholders.
- • You will conduct thorough code reviews focused on accuracy, testability, performance, and adherence to engineering best practices, mentoring peers and elevating the overall quality of the team’s deliverables.
- • You will champion and establish engineering excellence through process improvements, standardization of workflows, and advocacy for modern data engineering practices that enhance team velocity and system reliability.

- • Proficiency in Python and SQL, with strong expertise in data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and relational database design
- • Familiarity with Snowflake or comparable cloud data platforms for data ingestion, storage, and querying
- • Strong commitment to continuous learning and improving existing systems through innovation and technical excellence
- • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders
