đź“‹ Description
- • Own and evolve the company’s data pipeline infrastructure by designing and maintaining reliable, scalable ingestion and transformation pipelines across practice management systems and internal data sources.
- • Own the data warehouse: drive thoughtful data modeling, ensure high data quality, and establish it as a trusted foundation for Analytics and Product teams.
- • Define and enforce data contracts with producing teams to ensure schema stability, clear ownership, and consistent data delivery.
- • Drive data model evolution by managing schema versioning, migration processes, and backward compatibility across consuming teams.
- • Build and maintain Reverse ETL pipelines to sync curated data back into operational systems and business tools.
- • Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices for data systems to ensure high availability and rapid recovery.
- • Establish and champion a documentation culture around data — including cataloging, lineage, and metadata — as first-class concerns to support governance and compliance in a regulated healthcare environment.
- • Partner closely with Data Analytics, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure data is structured, accessible, and trustworthy for downstream analysis and reporting.
- • Harden data ingestion pipelines from functional to exemplary standards, focusing on reliability, observability, and developer experience.
- • Work with messy, heterogeneous data sources common in healthcare operations and transform them into clean, usable datasets.
- • Ensure all data systems comply with security and regulatory requirements inherent to healthcare fintech.
- • Promote documentation-first practices, believing undocumented data is nearly useless and actively improving knowledge sharing across teams.
- • Contribute to building a data infrastructure that is discoverable, well-documented, and designed with the end-user experience in mind.
- • Support the formation of a dedicated data engineering stream within the Core Data team, shaping how data systems are scaled and maintained.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data architecture with business needs in a fast-scaling healthcare technology environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong software engineering experience in Python with production-grade data pipeline experience.
- • Hands-on experience building and maintaining data warehouses and implementing data contracts between teams.
- • Practical experience with Reverse ETL.
- • Experience with data model evolution: versioning strategies, migration processes, and maintaining backward compatibility across consumers.
- • Strong experience with AWS.
- • Experience with Kafka or similar event streaming platforms.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Work with a team that prioritizes kindness, curiosity, and hard work — no egos, no drama, no jerks.
- • Join a company backed by €50M in Series B funding from world-class investors.
- • Contribute to building Europe’s leading healthcare fintech with a mission to empower over a million medical practices.
- • Operate in a regulated healthcare environment with clear compliance and security requirements.
- • Be part of a fast-scaling organization shaping the future of healthcare operations through automation and AI.
- • Work in a culture that values documentation, knowledge sharing, and developer-friendly data systems.
