- • As a Senior Data Engineer at P2P.org, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the data infrastructure that powers one of the largest institutional staking providers in the blockchain space, directly contributing to the extraction of maximum APR and security for clients managing over $10B in TVL.
- • Your work will ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of data pipelines that support core analytics, restaking operations, and yield products, enabling data-driven decisions across engineering, product, and business teams.
- • You will collaborate closely with analysts, DevOps, and engineering teams to refine data workflows, uphold security and compliance standards, and support the launch of innovative networks and financial products in the DeFi ecosystem.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include performing technical and business tasks derived from analyst requirements, participating in code reviews to identify inefficiencies and improve data quality, monitoring system load and service alerts to ensure uptime, interfacing with the DevOps team on infrastructure support and deployment tasks, and maintaining rigorous security and compliance protocols across data environments.
- • You will design, optimize, and manage ETL/ELT pipelines using Airflow, ensuring data integrity and timeliness for analytics and reporting, while leveraging BigQuery and ClickHouse for scalable querying and storage.
- • Your expertise in Python and SQL will be essential for writing maintainable scripts, transforming complex datasets, and building reusable data models that serve both internal teams and external product offerings.
- • You will work with Kubernetes to orchestrate data services and ensure resilient deployment of data workloads, while utilizing GCP services such as Cloud SQL and Google Cloud Storage (GCS) for storage and database needs.
- • Infrastructure as code practices using Terraform will be central to your role, enabling consistent, version-controlled provisioning of data environments across development, staging, and production.
- • You will contribute to a culture of technical excellence by mentoring peers, sharing knowledge, and advocating for best practices in data engineering, all while operating in a fully remote, collaborative environment that values ownership and innovation.

🎯 Requirements
- • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL (any dialect)
- • Mandatory experience with BigQuery, ClickHouse, and Apache Airflow
- • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and GCP services including Cloud SQL and Google Cloud Storage (GCS)
- • Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code
- • Fluency in English at B2 level or higher
