- • Design and build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks (Apache Spark, Delta Lake, Delta Live Tables) for batch and streaming data ingestion from multiple sources.
- • Architect and maintain a scalable, secure data platform integrating Databricks for data lakehouse management with OLAP engines (ClickHouse and Apache Druid) for low-latency querying.
- • Design, develop, test, and orchestrate data workflows to ensure seamless automation and reliability across data pipelines.
- • Optimize performance and reliability of data systems through Spark job tuning, ClickHouse schema optimization, and Druid data partitioning.
- • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve performance bottlenecks in data infrastructure to ensure high availability and efficiency.
- • Contribute to the development of internal tools that automate data processes and business workflows to enhance scalability and operational efficiency.
- • Collaborate closely with product, MLOps, and data science teams to deliver high-quality data experiences for machine learning practitioners and analytical users.
- • Ensure data pipelines support real-time analytics and business intelligence needs across the Mobile Growth Platform UA team.
- • Maintain documentation and best practices for data architecture, pipeline logic, and system dependencies.
- • Work within a fast-paced startup environment to deliver high-impact data solutions under evolving business requirements.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3-5+ years of professional work experience in data engineering
- • Strong expertise in Python and common data frameworks (Pandas, PySpark)
- • Experience with data lakes (Delta tables) and data warehouses
- • Experience with data orchestration tools (Dagster, Airflow)
- • Experience with streaming technologies (Kafka, Spark structured streaming)
- • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS S3, EC2, etc.)
- • Hands-on experience with ClickHouse and/or Apache Druid for real-time analytics
- • Based in Barcelona or ready to relocate to Barcelona
