- • Senior Data Engineer role focused on building the Bronze and Silver data layers of a centralized Data Hub for Precision Medicine Group’s life sciences portfolio, enabling AI-ready analytics and enterprise-wide data governance.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and maintaining ingestion, transformation, and enrichment pipelines using Snowflake, dbt, Snowpipe, Matillion, and orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster; implementing scalable data models; ensuring data quality through testing and observability; and collaborating with the Enterprise Data Architect to align pipelines with enterprise standards.
- • The team is part of a growing healthcare and life sciences company building foundational data infrastructure, working closely with architects and stakeholders to translate business needs into production-grade, reliable data assets.
- • In this role, you will gain deep expertise in healthcare data engineering, medallion architecture, and scalable pipeline design while owning end-to-end data quality and reliability—directly impacting downstream analytics, products, and client deliverables across the organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of professional data engineering experience, with at least 3 years in modern cloud data environments
- • 2+ years hands-on experience with Snowflake, including performance tuning, Snowpipe, and optimization patterns
- • 2+ years working with dbt (Core or Cloud) in production, including incremental models, testing, documentation, and package management
- • Demonstrated experience with healthcare data, including understanding of ICD-10, NPI, NDC codes, and claims data complexities
- • Production experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or similar, building and maintaining reliable DAGs at scale
- • Strong SQL and Python proficiency for data processing, scripting, and pipeline automation
