- • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Robotics Engineer with a specialized focus on algorithms, machine learning (ML), and software development. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in constructing intelligent robotic systems that operate across a diverse array of robot platforms. Your core responsibilities will encompass the development, integration, and deployment of critical autonomy components, including perception, state estimation, motion planning, and learning-based behaviors.
- • You will collaborate closely with our dedicated perception, ML, and software engineering teams to fuse multi-sensor data (such as cameras, LiDAR, and IMUs) into robust and reliable autonomy stacks. A significant part of your work will involve deploying these sophisticated systems onto real robotic platforms, which are utilized for internal development, compelling demonstrations, and critical customer-facing applications. This is a hands-on role that demands both deep technical expertise in software and algorithms, and a strong understanding of system-level architecture and impact.
- • Key responsibilities will include:
- • Developing and integrating advanced robotics algorithms and ML-based systems for perception, state estimation, motion planning, and control.
- • Seamlessly integrating multi-sensor perception outputs, including data from cameras, LiDAR, and IMUs, into comprehensive autonomy and decision-making frameworks.
- • Building, maintaining, and optimizing robot software stacks tailored for a variety of robot platforms, such as Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), robotic arms, quadrupedal robots, and humanoid robots.
- • Implementing, fine-tuning, and validating algorithms for critical functions like localization, mapping, sensor fusion, motion planning, trajectory optimization, and the development of learning-based behaviors and control policies.
- • Working in close partnership with our perception and computer vision teams to effectively consume, validate, and integrate ML-based outputs, including object detection, depth estimation, and object tracking.
- • Deploying and optimizing robotics software on resource-constrained embedded and edge computing platforms, ensuring efficient and real-time performance.
- • Providing essential support for the integration of autonomy stacks into physical robots, facilitating successful demonstrations, rigorous testing, and deployment for customer use cases.
- • Proactively debugging and resolving system-level autonomy issues that may span across sensors, algorithms, software interactions, and hardware components.
