- • Lead the development of agentic connector pipelines that automate source profiling, field mapping, dbt model generation, and validation for clinical and claims data sources.
- • Design and build AI-assisted data ingestion workflows using LLM APIs and agentic orchestration frameworks to enable scalable, non-linear data source coverage.
- • Own the first 2–3 end-to-end agent-built connectors as proof-of-concept implementations to demonstrate feasibility for broader team adoption.
- • Establish internal standards and patterns for AI tooling and mentor team members on agentic development practices through pair/mob programming and design reviews.
- • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and systems that support business-critical healthcare data needs.
- • Implement data quality control processes and contribute to observability frameworks to ensure reliability and traceability of data flows.
- • Document all new and existing systems, architectures, data models, and operational procedures to ensure knowledge retention and team alignment.
- • Participate in on-call rotations for 3–9% of the year, one week at a time, to respond to production incidents and emergent business needs.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally to accelerate the normalization and governance of clinical and claims data, directly impacting patient outcomes.

- • 1–2+ years of hands-on experience building with LLM APIs and agentic frameworks
- • Strong Python and SQL proficiency
- • Experience with Databricks and AWS
- • Strong understanding of data lake architecture, data modeling, and medallion patterns (Bronze/Silver/Gold)
- • Experience building and consuming APIs
🏖️ Benefits
- • Opportunity to own end-to-end proof-of-concept AI-driven data connectors in a high-impact healthcare setting
- • Mentorship and collaborative growth through pair/mob programming and design reviews
- • On-call rotation limited to 3–9% of the year (one week at a time)
- • Work within a small, high-performing team focused on innovation and technical excellence
- • Exposure to cutting-edge agentic AI applications in healthcare data engineering
- • Potential to influence internal AI tooling standards and engineering practices
