• • Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and implement highly scalable and robust data pipelines and lakehouse architectures. You will utilize the full power of Databricks, including Spark and Delta Lake, to ensure efficient data processing and storage.
• • A key aspect of this role involves leading and executing a significant migration project from Azure Synapse to Databricks. This initiative will focus on enhancing performance, optimizing costs, and ensuring the utmost reliability of our data platform.
• • You will be responsible for developing and fine-tuning Databricks SQL Warehouses, ensuring they are optimized for demanding analytics and business intelligence workloads.
• • A crucial part of your contribution will be building and maintaining sophisticated semantic models. These models will serve as the foundation for enterprise-wide reporting and enable self-service analytics capabilities for various business units.
