- • Design, implement, and maintain robust data management policies, procedures, and standards aligned with Jabil’s overall data strategy.
- • Lead data quality assurance efforts by defining metrics, developing cleansing processes, and monitoring data accuracy across systems.
- • Oversee the full data lifecycle, including acquisition, storage, archiving, and disposal, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
- • Collaborate with business units to translate data requirements into effective data solutions and models.
- • Manage and optimize data repositories, databases, and data warehouses to ensure high performance, scalability, and security.
- • Develop and implement data governance frameworks, including data ownership, stewardship, and access controls.
- • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data professionals.
- • Evaluate and recommend new data management technologies and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- • Participate in cross-functional projects, providing data expertise and ensuring seamless data integration across systems.
- • Document data processes, data flows, and system architectures in comprehensive and maintainable formats.
- • Apply expertise in SQL, Python, or other relevant programming languages for data manipulation and analysis.
- • Utilize knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling techniques to support business intelligence and operational efficiency.
- • Ensure adherence to data governance best practices, including stewardship, lineage, and metadata management.
- • Work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities and leading complex data initiatives.
- • Engage with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud to support scalable data infrastructure.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of progressive experience in data management, data governance, or data architecture roles
- • Proven experience with database technologies including SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases
- • Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling techniques
- • Expertise in data quality management principles and tools
- • Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
