- • The Senior Data Platform Engineer (Python/AWS) role is critical to enabling data-driven decision-making across a leading U.S. financial services client, where you will design and maintain scalable data pipelines that power pricing analytics, trading systems, hedging models, and loan pooling operations—directly impacting business performance and risk management.
- • You will architect and maintain robust Python-based applications using OOP principles and enterprise design patterns, ensuring code quality, reusability, and long-term maintainability in a high-stakes financial environment.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include building RESTful APIs and microservices with FastAPI or Flask, leveraging Pandas, NumPy, SQLAlchemy, and PySpark for complex data transformations, and implementing serverless solutions using AWS Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, S3, EventBridge, and Kinesis for real-time and batch processing.
- • You will design and orchestrate scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Airflow, Prefect, or AWS Step Functions, manage infrastructure-as-code via CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform, and deploy containerized services using Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes with CI/CD pipelines powered by automated testing (pytest) and rigorous data validation.
- • Collaborating closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, you will translate complex technical requirements into actionable data solutions while communicating insights clearly to non-technical audiences.
- • As part of Truelogic’s global team of 600+ Latin American tech professionals, you’ll work remotely with top-tier U.S. financial institutions, gaining exposure to cutting-edge fintech architectures and contributing to mission-critical systems that shape the mortgage and investment landscape.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of software development experience with at least 4+ years of dedicated production Python experience, including proficiency in asynchronous programming and OOP design patterns.
- • 3+ years of hands-on experience with data-centric AWS services such as Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, S3, EventBridge, Kinesis, and related analytics or storage tools.
- • Strong architecture knowledge of ETL/ELT patterns, modern data pipelines, and experience orchestrating workflows using Airflow, Prefect, or AWS Step Functions.
- • Proven ability to build and deploy scalable microservices using FastAPI or Flask, containerize applications with Docker, and manage deployments via Kubernetes, ECS, or serverless architectures.
- • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines incorporating automated testing (pytest) and data validation frameworks.
- • Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders, project managers, and cross-functional teams in a financial services context.
