📋 Description

• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of data scientists focused on Marketing & Business Development to drive Reddit’s user growth strategy through data-driven decision-making.
• Serve as a strategic thought-partner to cross-functional leaders in Product, Engineering, Design, and Marketing, shaping roadmaps and identifying actionable insights from complex data.
• Oversee the development of causal measurement frameworks, incremental LTV models, and standardized metrics to ensure accurate ROI evaluation and budget allocation.
• Champion data quality, self-service analytics adoption, and scalable data foundations to empower teams across the organization with reliable, actionable insights.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of leadership experience managing high-performing data science teams, ideally in consumer technology or marketplace environments.
• Proven expertise in causal inference, A/B testing, metric definition, governance, and product strategy.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python/R for hands-on analysis, with ability to collaborate technically with the team when needed.
• Experience enabling analytics self-service for cross-functional teams and driving adoption of data-driven recommendations.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude) to enhance productivity and code quality.
