📋 Description
- • Senior Data Scientist role focused on DeFi and stablecoins within the Sui ecosystem at Mysten Labs, a company building foundational blockchain infrastructure to accelerate decentralized protocol adoption.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include building dashboards for DeFi and stablecoin activity, running analyses on liquidity and trading volumes, developing measurement protocols for DeFi health and wash trading detection, collaborating with engineering and product teams to set industry standards, and partnering with business development to measure integration impacts.
- • Mysten Labs is a remote-first company backed by $300M in Series B funding from top-tier investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Jump Crypto, and Coinbase Ventures, dedicated to bringing the next billion users to web3 through high-performance, object-centric blockchain technology.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in on-chain analytics, DeFi primitives, and blockchain measurement frameworks while influencing product and partnership strategy through data-driven insights in a fast-growing crypto ecosystem.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong SQL and visualization skills with the ability to communicate insights clearly and effectively.
- • Hands-on experience working with on-chain data using tools such as Dune, Flipside, Allium, or raw node/indexer data.
- • Familiarity with DeFi primitives including AMMs, lending markets, perpetuals, and stablecoin mechanisms, along with key metrics like TVL, volume, LP returns, and peg stability.
- • Experience building and maintaining analytics engineering pipelines, particularly with dbt or similar frameworks.
- • Background in quantitative finance, trading, market making, or fintech analytics is highly valued.
- • Deep interest in DeFi, stablecoins, and on-chain financial infrastructure.
